FAQ's

Q: Is the Shopping Centre still open?

A: Yes, we are open and adhering to government restrictions.

We are adhering to all Government announcements and restrictions as they evolve but it is important to remain open for essential services. We continue to closely monitor advice from State and Federal authorities and will update our customers and retailers as circumstances change.

Q: What are the current restrictions for Shopping Centres?

A: There are a number of restrictions for retailers trading.

The restrictions on social gathering places currently include the following closures:

  • Restaurants, cafes and food courts (Open for trade on take away and delivery only)

  • Beauty Therapy, tanning, waxing, nail salons, massage and tattoo parlours

  • Registered and licensed clubs (excluding attached bottle shops, which can remain open)

  • Hotels and pubs licensed areas (excluding accommodation)

  • Entertainment venues, casinos and nightclubs

  • Gyms and indoor sporting venues

  • Places of worship

  • Play centres both indoor and outdoor

  • Community and recreation centres

 

Q: What is an essential service?

A: A service or occupation that is basic public need.

The service that is currently open and not restricted by the Federal Government is:

  • Supermarkets, bottle shops and convenience stores

  • Retail Store

  • Pharmacies

  • GP Clinics

  • Allied Health Services (physio, dental and etc.)

  • Post office and Banks

  • Cafes and Restaurants – take away only

  • Hairdressers and Barbers – restricted to 30min appointments

  • Petrol stations

  • Mechanics and car servicing

 

Q: Is my favourite retailer still open?

A: Speciality retailers remain open other than the restrictions in place.

If a retailer does not fall within the restricted guidelines set by the Federal Governments then they will remain open, unless they decide on their own will to close. As stores close we will ensure to update our website. Please regularly check the stores on our website for more information.

 

Q: What are the latest Supermarket hours?

A: Please see individual store websites for opening hours.

Q: What are you doing on a Centre level for cleaning?

A: We have implemented many additional cleaning measures.

The health and safety of our customers is always our highest priority.

 

This Centre has implemented measures to assist in minimising the risk of transmission and to ensure confidence when visiting:

  • We have installed additional signage in public areas, in particular bathrooms - educating and encouraging goo, doors and surfaces.

  • Providing regular updates to all stores as new information develops.

  • We have initiated incident cleaning procedures should there be a confirmed case at the centre.

  • We have cancelled or postponed large events and will be monitoring group meetings or gatherings over the coming weeks.

  • We will continue to closely monitor Government and World Health Organisation information and put in place d hand washing practices.

  • We have implemented frequent cleaning to touch points such as door handles, taps, toilet buttons

  • The necessary requirements to minimise potential risk.
